Frequently Asked Questions

Froebel's curriculum has a holistic approach towards education where each student acquires subject knowledge as well as lifelong learning skills. We build a strong academic foundation in the sciences, humanities and arts to help children develop critical thinking and creativity. PSHE, which covers personal, social and health education, is a core component of our curriculum and ensures well-rounded students.

The academic session starts in the month of August and ends in May/early June.

Froebel’s is a school for day scholars only.

There is zero tolerance for bullying at Froebel’s. Disciplinary action for such behaviour is specified in the Student Discipline Policy.

If a child is leaving the school before home time, they must complete an early dismissal slip at the office.

At the moment we are not offering any foreign language. English is the medium of instruction for all classes with the exception of Urdu class.

Midterm and final examinations are conducted from Year 6 onwards.

At the IGCSE level, we follow the Pearson Edexcel board exclusively and at the A level students are offered a choice between Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) boards. There is no difference between Edexcel and CAIE in the level or degree of difficulty. The difference comes in the way the questions are framed and the paper format. Click for details CAIE and Edexcel International are UK examining bodies and both provide a range of internationally recognised qualifications and have worldwide status and credibility. Both boards are equally recognised by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) when granting equivalence certificates for students who wish to go on to institutes of higher education in Pakistan.
