Student Life

In an effort to prepare students for lifelong success, FIS fosters multifaceted personality traits and skill sets and employs a holistic approach to the development of each student.  A wide range of co-curricular activities are, therefore, scheduled and carried out each year.  Apart from a number of activity clubs that operate under the supervision of the Student Council, mandatory participation in a range of sports activities allow students to maintain physical fitness, actualize talents in sports and teambuilding, and learn the governing principles of self discipline, time management and leadership.

Students run their own Student Council and are actively involved in a number of societies, including Yearbook, Music, Historic, Literary, Science, Debating, Dramatics, Environmental and Media Societies. Froebel’s Calendar is full of exciting activities and learning opportunities, from Language Arts and Career Counselling Weeks to the Spring Fling and Annual Bonfire, Talent Show, Sports Day, Milad & Mushaira, Science & General Knowledge Quiz events and Graduation Ceremonies, along with competitive interschool tournaments like Frolympics (athletics), Fromun (model UN) and Frodoc (film festival). There’s something for everyone, female and male, from two to eighteen.
