Early Years Pre-playgroup (Pre-PG), Playgroup (PG), Kindergarten (KG) and Preparatory (Prep). Froebel's offers a multidimensional learning experience that includes theme-based IPC units that encourage hands-on, activity based learning through child-friendly modules including 'All About Me,' 'Let's Pretend,' 'Food,' 'Animals,' and 'Going Places.' Early literacy and numeracy skills are developed, along with speaking, listening, writing, reading, expressive arts, exploration and healthy living. As language skills develop, a greater dependence on verbal communication emerges that is developed throughout the day in meaningful activities such as book sharing, open-ended discussion, and the dramatization of read-aloud stories, individual and group narration of stories based on actual or imagined experience, and reading and writing centres.

Mathematical skills such as counting, sorting, finding patterns, making connections, recognizing relationships and working with numbers, shapes, space and measures are developed through stories, songs, games and imaginative play. Hands-on experience is emphasized with pegboards, blocks, number lines and other counting and measuring materials. A multicultural education develops cultural sensitivity, while character education cultivates moral values and ethical decision-making through story telling, modelling, discussion and practice. Creative development is encouraged via a stimulating environment and multi-sensory experiences in art, music, dance, role-play and imaginative play. As children interact with a range of play materials and equipment, they participate in action rhymes and dances as they learn to better control their movements. This physical development, accompanied by development in other learning areas, fosters positive self-image. The UK based International Primary Curriculum (IPC) provides a cross-curriculum thematic, rigorous teaching structure designed to engage children of all abilities in today's world, and also meets the needs of the English National Curriculum. The academic focus of Froebel's International School is centred on the belief that all students have the inherent ability to achieve academic excellence within a healthy and inclusive learning environment and multiple learning tools. The IPC enables students to achieve such an outcome through an activity based interactive program which eases the process of acquiring knowledge and, at the same time, promotes coping and motor skills through a sequential learning-by-doing approach. The programme is implemented by qualified, trained and empathetic teachers and provides a smooth transition from the Early Years to the Primary Years.
